Problem Statement

CM Health’s aging infrastructure, and the unknown condition of these assets, create issues for planning remedial works to ensure the longevity of these assets.

What are we trying to achieve?

We are implementing an asset management system, in order to ensure the reliability of the assets and align them with the organisation’s strategies and goals.

What have we done?

• The investor confidence rating report is being reviewed, with the aim of addressing any gaps identified.
• A Group Asset Management Team has been formed and personnel recruitment is taking place. The team will help implement the new asset management system.
• An upgrade of the existing computerised maintenance management system is planned, in order to make the system fit for purpose.

What did we find?

Where to from here?

We envisage that all preventative maintenance works will be planned and controlled from the computerised maintenance management system. This will ensure visibility of the work being done on assets and enable reliability centered maintenance works to be carried out.
