You requested the following information:
1.The average length of stay for women and their babies in birthing facilities for each of theyears 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 to date.
2.The average length of inpatient post-natal stay for each woman birthing at your DHB, byhour, in 2017/18. Please provide separately for vaginal and non-vaginal births.
You subsequently clarified (via Waitemata DHB) on 09 October that for question two, you would accept a revised response, providing
3.The length of inpatient post-natal stay for woman birthing at your DHB, grouped by thenumber of women staying less than six hours and the number staying longer than 48 hours, in2017/18. Please provide separately for vaginal and non-vaginal births.
