I write in response to your Official Information Act request, dated 06 November 2018. You requested the following information on our Nursing and Midwifery workforce, and our responses are detailed below each question.

1.            How many individual Registered Nurses are employed by the DHB?

2.            How many individual Registered Midwives are employed by the DHB?

3.            How many individual Enrolled Nurses are employed by the DHB?

4.            How many individual Health Care Assistants are employed by the DHB? (Or equivalent title undertaking the same or similar duties as a Health Care Assistant (e.g. Hospital Aide, Patient Care Assistant etc.)) 

5.            How many individual Employees, by role that would be covered by NZNO MECA Clause 8.0.1 table one, ‘Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife’ scale of the NZNO/ DHB MECA are currently employed for the below hours or FTE.
