Who Do We See?
We provide mental health services and support to people aged 65 and over. We see people with a range of mental health concerns, as well as medical conditions that affect their emotional wellbeing.
Where Will We See You?
We provide support to older people and their whaanau in a range of locations. Our community services team visit people where they live, be it their own home, family home or other facility. Some people may be invited to attend doctor clinics in Pukekohe or Waiuku.
The inpatient ward attached to our service is Ward 43- MHSOP Inpatients. This is a small ward in Tiaho Mai at Middlemore Hospital for people who require specialist assessment and treatment for moderate to severe mental health disorders. This is a short-stay service, with most people staying around 3 weeks.
